Alexander's Distillery at Inn on the Creek at 602 Center Circle, Salado, Texas.

What a wonderful evening! Our hosts at Valley View RV Park recommended this restaurant so we tried it out tonight.

We started with a bottle of cabernet, moderately priced, and she ordered a grilled shrimp appetizer. I ordered a wedge salad and both were excellently prepared. For entrees, she had a shrimp/grits dish and I had the ribeye, medium rare of course. Both were fantastic.

For dessert, she had the pecan pie and I had my usual, creme brulee, and again, both were prepared and served exquisitely.

All in all, it was a memorable evening and our server, whose name I didn't remember, was outstanding. If you want an upscale meal and don't want to have to drive into Austin, this is definitely the place.
